About
Ms. Melinda Broussard, Founder, Executive Director and Owner, of A Step Above Case Management, Inc. (ASACM) has over 20+ years of experience working with individual’s with Intellectual Disabilities. Ms. Broussard has been a case manager since 2004 and has extensive experience working with individuals on the Developmental Disability Waiver (DD Waiver) in all the regions/areas throughout New Mexico. Prior to 2004, she worked as a Program Director serving individuals with Intellectual Disabilities for 3 years. Ms. Broussard’s goal for ASACM is to recognize each individuals separate and unique needs, facilitate person-centered planning, and to provide support to the Case Managers to assure goals can be achieved. ASACM works to assist individual’s in meeting their visions, dreams, wishes, and outcomes in conjunction with their entire team. ASACM focuses on working as advocates for individuals supported and served in by ASACM. Ms. Broussard has a Master’s Degree (MA) in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies.

How do I get started
Fill out our quick intake form to confirm eligibility. Upon receiving your patient application our team will schedule the primary interview. During the interview our team will work with you to determine your exact needs. We will go over the necessary paperwork.
What regions and counties do you service?
The pediatric outpatient clinic is located in Albuquerque and will serve all that can travel to it. For those individuals on the NM DD Waiver we currently serve Sandoval, Bernalillo, Valencia, and Socorro counties.
Do you accept insurance
Yes, we accept the following insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Presbyterian, Western Sky, True Health New Mexico
